Information from University Security Services.

The following documents are thought to be important for the management of a professional security services department; the list is not definitive and the documents, that have been provided by various Heads of Security, are merely a guide and at times will be location specific. 

The intention is to share good practice and if any AUCSO managers have documents they feel may be useful to other please notify Brian Schofield [b.schofield@bath.ac.uk] or David Owen [aucsec@aim.com] who will be able to link the document to this website. In order to give proper credence to the authorship of documents, we ask that the documents author(s) and their status be identified.  Similarly, so as to identify the current relevance of the document, contributors are asked to supply  a date of publication.
